After achieving a 331% turnover growth rate between 2013- 2016, and becoming Romania's fastest growing company in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE, Tremend consolidates its position in US by acquiring 648 Group. Tremend already has customers in 14 US states and the acquisition is an important step in the company's strategy to expand its presence in the US, among other regions like the UK and the Scandinavian countries.

With over 16 years in delivering premium web and mobile platforms, 648 Group has been developing projects for a wide range of industries, ranging from advertising, real-estate, automotive, tourism, publishing, banking, to manufacturing, aerospace, and retail. During this time, 648 has been creating and delivering premium web and mobile solutions for brands such as the International Airport in Atlanta, Ford, Farmers Insurance, Samsung or Netflix, just to name a few. The company was founded in Aliso Viejo, CA.

"648 shares the same customer centricity and engineering culture with us and we are confident that the transition will be an easy one. Together, we will continue to grow our US-based customer portfolio, by delivering enterprise solutions based on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, and Blockchain." Marius Hanganu, Managing Partner Tremend

Val Balanescu, the founder of 648 Group, who is based in Atlanta, GA, will join Tremend as VP, Business Development Americas. "Today is an exciting day for 648 Group", said Val Balanescu. "Our team is thrilled to complement an outstanding engineering team. We are impressed with Tremend's agility and advanced engineering capabilities in delivering solutions for some of the similar industries such as telecom, retail, manufacturing or automotive. Their strong sense of customer care, technical innovation and time to market are key factors for growth and success here in the US."

In 2017, Inc.5000** nominated Tremend among the most dynamic European software providers, while the company also entered in top 1000 most agile companies in Europe, according to Financial Times. In 2016, Tremend ranked 37th on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe list of the fastest growing technology suppliers in the region, the highest position reached by a Romanian company.

With over 12 years of experience in software development, Tremend has successfully delivered over 300 projects to customers from 15 countries on three continents. The solutions developed by the company have over 60 million end-users and serve leading companies in industries such as banking, finance, telecom and automotive, as well as professional and medical services.
