2018-04-04 13:13:54

Leading IT market in Romania, with offices in Bucharest and Brașov, Zitec specializes in the development of custom business solutions, customized services and products, as well as digital marketing services. Zitec's mission is to shape and employ technology so it inspires and empowers people and organizations to achieve their utmost potential. At Zitec, innovation is the key way to grow.
They approach people, projects and experiences in a pioneering mindset, providing new solutions in the best interest of their clients, team, and community.

The Romanian company has delivered over 350 projects in 15 countries, on 3 continents. Zitec is one of the few Romanian companies certified by Microsoft ISV Gold, Microsoft Cloud Gold, Amazon AWS Technology Partner and Google Cloud. The company also has the largest number of specialists certified Zend (The PHP Company) in Romania.

Alexandru Lăpușan, CEO and co-founder at Zitec, notes, "For Zitec, the workspace is very important. We spend a great deal of time here, so it is vital that space is relaxing and creative at the same time. The design of the meeting and relaxation rooms will incorporate elements that will cultivate the spirit of adventure and team imagination and will encourage the exploration of new horizons. We like to innovate and this will also be seen in the concept of this project." The new Zitec location at Timpuri Noi Square will accommodate, in an unconventional space, a team of up to 190 software development and digital marketing specialists. In addition to the office space, the concept of the headquarters will include themed meeting rooms and common games areas where colleagues can relax with ping-pong, foosball, pinball or console games.

Antoniu Panait, Managing Director at Vastint Romania, notes, "With great joy we welcome a new neighbor in Timpuri Noi Square. The first two buildings will soon be fully let. Zitec team is a leader in their segment and we appreciate that they decided to join us in Timpuri Noi Square. They share our vision and enthusiasm regarding the project and its location. We have chosen to build an innovative project, reaching 100,000 sqm leasable area in total, to offer the possibility of growth. The future belongs to those companies which choose the right environment for the majority of their employees. Competition for the best employees started and the right location close to sleeping districts and many amenities is a must. The reality is that we live in a major city with over 2 M inhabitants and we enjoy the chance to live and work in newly created oasis. "

Timpuri Noi Square is the largest mixed-use project in Romania today. Construction of the first two office buildings was finalized in 2017, adding 32,600 m² out of a planned total of up to 100,000 m² of modern, class A office and retail space as well as 50,000 m² of residential area. Construction works for the next office building (20,100 m²) started in 2017. Timpuri Noi Square provides a welcoming, healthy working indoor environment, by means of a silent air conditioning and ventilation system, thermal comfort control, 3 meter clear floor height and increased natural light provision. Furthermore the project offers a dynamic and inviting plaza with restaurants, terraces, coffee shops, snack bars and retail amenities for recreation and fun. In March 2018 the first two office buildings of Timpuri Noi Square achieved LEED Platinum certification.
