People in Shared Services and Outsourcing Forum takes place on October 18th in Bucharest

Outsourcing Today, the integrated communication platform of for the business services sector, together with The Diplomat-Bucharest, kick off the autumn series of events on October 18, at Caro Hotel Bucharest, with the fourth edition of People in Shared Services and Outsourcing Forum.

The event is organized with the partnership with Diamond partner Wipro, Gold partners PwC, ACCA, ADP, COS, Colliers International, Partners Vastint, Noerr, Skanska, Immofinanz, with the support of ABSL, ANIS, ClujIT.

The annual event dedicated exclusively to the human resources in Shared Services & Outsourcing Industry brings together the business services investors such as SSC, ITO, BPO, academic figures and authorities to discuss and discover new tools, strategies and solutions for developing, implementing & optimizing the HR model.

The event gathers the services industry's HR executives to share strategic insights on developing next generation, customer-centric HR processes and policies to engage and empower all employees to be the highest performers.
The accelerated advancements in technology such as AI and Augmented Reality, and the continuous rising expectations of the hyper-connected customers have put significant pressure on industry professionals as they have to face the ambiguity of digital transformation, spiraling costs and a shortage of talent.

The discussions will be focused on the most successful operating models, as well as characteristics of the talent and leadership the companies need, how data can be leveraged to provide relevant insights, and the technology worth investing in.

FIRST SESSION. DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND NEXT-GENERATION TALENT DEVELOPMENT (PRESENTATIONS & DEBATE)
To what extent will robotics, chat bots and other cognitive technologies change the makeup of our future workforce? With customizable software, cloud-based tools which promote automation, the low skill sectors of the BPO are at high risk. This trend will dominate in 2018 and outsourcing companies will automate more processes to bring innovation to existing clients, improve productivity and regain a labor cost advantage. Emerging skills that will be in high demand include robotics, big data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

THIRD SESSION. THE WAR ON TALENT (DEBATE PANEL)
